Perhaps you’re a fan of wild swimming, or maybe you love exploring lost ruins, remote villages, or the quiet rural corners of the Iberian Peninsula — far from the tourist crowds.

After researching and writing two guidebooks on wild swims, hidden caves, castles, and the best local eats and stays, I’ve learned a lot along the way. These tours highlight some of my favourite gems of Spain and Portugal’s wild landscapes:

  • Walk through karstic mountains and ancient woodlands
  • Spot soaring griffon vultures
  • Discover prehistoric cave paintings
  • Swim in mountain lakes and woodland rivers

All while keeping it local and sustainable — staying in family-run cottages, eating in village restaurants, and keeping our group sizes small (maximum 8).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″ el_class=”tour-image-col” css=”.vc_custom_1773877529040{background-image: url(https://www.edwinapitcher.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Captura-de-pantalla-2026-03-18-a-las-12.26.47.png?id=510) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: contain !important;border-radius: 5px !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][vc_single_image image=”514″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” css=”” el_class=”img-lat-parrafo”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/6″][vc_column_text css=””]All while keeping it local and sustainable — staying in family-run cottages, eating in village restaurants, and keeping our group sizes small (maximum 8).

Travel for us is not about racing across a region — it’s about immersing yourself, exploring within a small radius, and really getting to know a place. In Andalucía, for example, you can discover waterfalls, caves, desert gullies, and ancient woodlands within just 100km.

If this is the kind of travel you love, we’d be delighted to guide you through the wild, hidden wonders of Spain and Portugal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”tour-section”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]
